This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Insurance Life Galaxy, based on how this website is actually built. We’ve written it to match the site’s real, current behaviour — not a generic template — and we’ll update it if that behaviour changes.

1. Who operates this site

Insurance Life Galaxy is operated by Rukmangad Devpunje, an independent insurance professional based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. [Formal registered business name and registration details, if applicable, to be added.] This site is not the official website of HDFC Life, Edelweiss Life, or any other insurer.

2. The insurance calculators

The Life Insurance Needs Calculator, Term Insurance Coverage Calculator, Human Life Value Calculator, Life Insurance Premium Estimator and Coverage Gap Analyzer all run entirely in your own browser. The numbers you type in — your income, age, loans, coverage amounts, and so on — are used only to calculate a result on your screen. They are not sent to any server, not stored anywhere by us, and disappear as soon as you close or reload the page. We do not require an email address, account, or any personal information to use any calculator.

The “Copy Result” button uses your browser’s own clipboard feature to copy your result as text, so you can paste it elsewhere — this also happens entirely on your device and does not involve our servers.

3. The contact form

The contact form on our Contact page currently opens your own email application with your message pre-filled, addressed directly to us. This means the information you type (name, email, phone if provided, subject and message) is sent using your own email account, the same way it would be if you wrote us an email directly — it is not stored on this website or transmitted through any server we operate. We only see what arrives in our inbox once you send that email.

Whatever you send us by email is handled the way any email would be: it sits in our inbox, and we use it to respond to you. We do not use contact-form submissions for marketing without your separate consent.

4. Cookies and local storage

This site does not currently set any cookies, and does not use browser local storage or session storage to track or remember visitors. If that changes in the future — for example, if we later add analytics that uses cookies — we will update this policy before doing so.

5. Third-party services

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) so that pages display correctly. Loading these fonts means your browser makes a request directly to Google’s servers, which may receive your IP address and browser information as a normal part of that request. We do not control what Google does with that data; you can review Google’s Privacy Policy for details. We do not currently use any other third-party service, plugin, or embedded widget on this site.

6. Analytics

This site does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other analytics or visitor-tracking tool. [If analytics is added in the future, this section will be updated first to disclose what is collected and why, before it is turned on.]

7. Server and log data

Once hosting is set up, this section will describe any standard server log data collected — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — which is typical of most web hosting and is separate from anything this site’s own code does.]

8. Data retention

Because calculator inputs are never transmitted to us and are not stored anywhere, there is nothing for us to retain or delete from that use of the site. Emails sent through the contact form are retained in our inbox for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, or until you ask us to delete them.

10. Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults researching life insurance and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example, if we add hosting details, analytics, or new features that change how information is handled. We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when that happens.
